I am an American and live in Brasil now. I went to dinner with my wife and her boss for our 3 birthdays (June 2012). The 2 ladies ordered seafood entrés so I decided a white wine would be best even though I was having a file mignon. I normally drink dry reds so I chose the Sauvignon Gris as it shouldn´t be too sweet. It was a very pleasant surprise with a good taste and fine aroma. It went well with my steak too. Chilean wines are usually very good. I am a bit biased having lived close to the Napa Valley my whole life, but when not in California, go Chileano! |
